Alt 2014

Wow! The Altitude Summit in Salt Lake City has been on my bucket list for years now.  I finally got to go, and it was everything I imagined and more.

I did not plan outfits like most of the attendees, nor did I attend any of the after parties.  I was a bit of a party pooper.  But I had a lot of work do, and I am usually exhausted at the end of a day like that anyway.  And.....truth be told....half of the attraction of going out of town was that I would be out of town....by myself......alone.   Something unheard of around my house.   So, I gladly got to my quiet hotel room and worked a bit, ordered room service and watched movies......um yes, it was heaven.

And, Christy Turlington was there(!), and we happened to go to High School together, but haven't seen each other since!  And she was so kind, gracious, and beautiful.   Plus, she was there to talk about her organization EVERY MOTHER COUNTS.  And when someone is doing work like that in the world, they glow.  She does.  She glows.  She stayed after and chatted with the some 50+ people who waited in line to see her, and made each person feel special.  Seeing Christy was the icing on the cake.

Thank you Alt, for being everything I dreamed.  I shall return!
